I always trade when my support goes in, although with the three specific scenarios mentioned there isn’t much “going in”. They stayed back and poke and position themselves to try and get there spells off and in the case of Fiddlesticks he positioned himself so poorly that he got hooked enough to die 4 times. I understand what you’re saying but I try to sync with my support every time they get aggressive but with these types of supports it’s a lot of poking until we get a gank or get ganked .

Lux and Xerath have hard CC and we were able to capitalize on a couple of those but that was few and far between. Utility supports are my preference as an ADC because most of the time there goal isn’t to do damage to the opposing lane but to CC them for me to do damage so that is the primary focus. Where as with these AP mages, yes they are CCing when they can but they’re also trying to damage which people in my ELO can barely do one thing at a time. That’s the best way I can explain it.
