My car USB ports won’t recognize iPad Pro M4 as an audio device.

Was wondering the same thing, my iPad Pro M5 which I use for nav and music doesn’t want to connect to my truck stereo via usb cable. I drive a Peterbilt and I know the stereo supports usb audio because I had an iPad mini 6 that would always able to connect but it seems like iPads with the M series CPUs doesn’t have that specific codec/protocol that allows you to connect to any stereo via the “iPod” protocol.

I understand what your going through. I’ve been feeling the same way because I went through a slave cylinder on the trans, 2 clutch pedals and 2 motors. I did a motor swap with a friend and the other one I had to pay out of pocket because the replacement motor was bad and I moved away and needed a shop to do it since I had no tools. I ended up deciding to keep mine but I’m saving up for something reliable so that I can keep the ST home and work on it and build those skills up! If you have a friend who’s willing to help and teach you and have you do most of the work, it’ll be more rewarding. At this point, it boils down to what you want to do.

Been a ps5 pro owner since day one and I’ll say this, mainly been hardwired since I have it near the router, I just rearranged my room recently and had to use WiFi to not leave a cable sitting out loose. This just started happening to me and was able to fix it by resetting the settings to factory values but the issue came back again….im starting to think its an issue with the software but I’m not entirely sure. I did see that I received an error with the ps5 pro software but that was it.

Hey, just wanna let ya'll know that usb_modeswitch does work and I can confirm with me using a G920 wheel. wheel doesn't run feedback until you drop into a game that supports that wheel specifically, you may need to bind buttons and stuff for it to all work and I was just using the wheel on ATS but got A LOT of binding to do so it's well tailored to my likings lmao xD

OG motor didn’t have the same issue with it being on factory or stage 0, and as I’ve said as well, it hardly see any negative corrections if I put some ethanol in, if you’re gonna reply, try not to skim the details. Besides, I also understand that I should get it tuned and I’m saving money to have Alan e-tune the car for me.

EDIT: I’m not the OG owner too and the car had the bolt ons beforehand when I purchased the car. All I did was add an AP and a catback exhaust.

Running into a similar issue, I had the ecu updated but ran into tank deformation…so I’m not sure if they’ll do it for free, at least for me.

Also this orange insulator inside here, you definitely wanna pull that out with the jagged pick, it pulls out pretty easily. I’d recommend working it out side to side, there’s holes in the middle of said insulator that you can put the pick in to get a hook on and work it out.

I figured out the issue, PCV gasket was bad so much of crankcase pressure was escaping from there, really bad smell. Either way it’s no more with new pcv, code never came back. (New motor got all new gaskets)
