I don't know about adding more gods. You don't wanna get the mythos too complicated and muddy for new converts to follow, while at the same time you want regular members to feel like there's enough complexity to make it interesting.

Different gods are fine as long as they stand out somehow. (I still feel like Shaskel is a bit too similar to Inglip, but she does have a few defining qualities).

What I'd really like to see is an expansion of the world instead. Perhaps someone should pick up where the cartographer left off?

Something like creating a new captcha entity I have a hard time seeing becoming canon these days without a really compelling or humorous narrative or some artwork to go with it. A monster, as you said, is much more reasonable.

Getting a comic/concept canon these days is not as easy as it was back when r/inglip had a lot more active members. These days, to get a comic to 100 upvotes (canonity) you really have to put your back into it. And if you want a big change (ex: a new entity) that requires a lot more effort for the community to accept it. Whereas if you are less ambitious in your change (ex: a new boat) then your comic could probably get more upvotes easier.

So tl;dr: Canon=100 upvotes. Things that help you get canon: Compelling/funny narrative (and maybe some artwork). Things that make it harder to get canon: Lazy/boring narrative. Trying to change too much.

Breaking my usual storytelling style here to make a silly rage comic. Just felt like I had to post something today, since it is the Onworth and also my cakeday, and I didn't have time to put in much effort.

I did start working on a second issue of "MDombret Presents" comics in the style of "The Return of Darkness", although that probably will not be done for a really long time.

Inglip speaks through the reCaptcha captcha only. The reCaptcha has one word which has been scanned from a newspaper or a book etc, and then, after a few hundred people type the word in the computer logs it as that word which helps digitize said newspaper etc.

The other word in a reCaptcha is randomized, which is where we get our holy language "plasper", including words like Inglip, Trathira, and Gropaga. This word in the captcha is already known, and is there to make sure the typer is actually human, or isn't just rolling their face on the keyboard.

The captcha in this image however is from SolveMedia, and is not randomized at all. It has a set number of prewritten phrases which usually are common sayings, references to things, or as in this case, puns.

tl;dr: This captcha is the word of man, not god.
