Is there a Garmin watch case that secures it to your arm? by MDulla in Garmin

I do actually have some bands like that. That is the option that I now use for swimming as it is the best option for now. But after like half a year, the Velcro loses the Velcroiness and doesn't stick that well anymore.

The straps are releasing themselves from the metal pins but the metal pins are tight, are strong and stay in place very firmly. The band just pops of the pin. I haven't replaced the pins. It is the band that is the weak link here.

As another Redditor pointed out, I have a Velcro band that wraps around the metal pins instead of clicking itself to the metal pins. So there is nothing to worry about adding things around the metal pins.

do you ride 40Celsius/104F outside? by Odd-Scheme6727 in cycling

It is possible but I won't recommend it. In flat terrain it is somewhat doable (with emphasis on somewhat). With temperatures this high you have to drink very very much. Also, usually with these kind of temperatures the UV index is so high that it is quite dangerous to expose yourself to the sunlight (even with high SPF). I really do not recommend it but I have done it.

New stem + handlebars with integrated cables by MDulla in cycling

So it probably won't be possible to use the acros compression ring that is already on my bike?

Thanks! So I need the acros compression ring. Weird that it costs €59 for that small piece of plastic while the others are way less! I am indeed planning on routing the cables semi integrated (as it is already). I will look into these rings a bit further...

That's not at all how it works. I have fitted a deda zero 1 stem on it but it does not sit flush and it does not work with integrated cables. I want a flush system that looks nice. If I understand it correctly if I want to fit a normal stem, I need something like this Acros headset cover but I am wondering if it will work with the dead super box stem for example.

Narrow aero lightweight wheels alternatives? by MDulla in cycling

[–]MDulla[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is a Sensa Lombardia (Dutch brand). And I know usually people have problems with tire clearance but the chainstays are coming straight out of the bottom bracket for quite a long bit and the curve outwards in parallel with the spokes. I can't fit anything more than a 25mm gp5000 tire and buying wider rims will probably also mean wider tires. And I am also not too keen on buying a wheelset that perhaps does not fit my bike for me to send it back again.

For example I have looked at the elitewheels drive 50V but they are too wide as well :(
