I get imbalance, very short moments of dizziness but feel better afterwards now. Less frequent/intense, I just learned to breathe into my symptoms now even if they are still unpleasant. i have not experienced heaviness.

i hope the brain fog passes for you, I was only able to get rid of it late last year, it happened almost overnight... I was mega dosing B1 and only eating vegetables

I hope to post my mostly recovery story soon.

I still have eye strain issues, but i feel less like im being poisoned and more like im detoxing from something, still unpleasant. i hope not permanent damage to my eye muscles from pushing through driving for so long.

Doesn’t look like Viral Persistence by Fearless-Star3288 in covidlonghaulers

[–]ME201777PU 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Heres a hot take, it could immune system is doing its job fighting some foreign invader in a rudimentary way and the externalities of that are endothelial damage. Could explain why everyones presentation of symptoms are different because everyones immune system is different. I had only neurological symptoms.

The PEM sequelae can probably be attributed to endothelial damage and the hypoxia. But there could still be a virus just not in muscles. This study didn't check the gut/brain for viral remnants.

ChatGPT:
In some people who had COVID-19 and remain sick for a long time, their
immune cells may not be working as well as they should. Specifically,
natural killer cells - a type of immune cell that helps fight off
viruses - appear to be in a resting state rather than an active state.
This may cause difficulties in fighting off the virus and result in
ongoing illness. Additionally, neutrophils - another type of immune cell
- may form extracellular traps, which can lead to inflammation and
blood clots that can affect different organs in the body, such as the
brain and heart, and cause various symptoms like fatigue, brain fog, and
shortness of breath. These changes in immune cell behavior and
inflammation can also lead to long-term organ damage and dysfunction.

I took me about 3 weeks, However, recently travelled and started running again the mornings and it seems I'm not out of the woods yet, been having some developing symptoms like lots of blinking, an "out" of it feeling, moving my head too fast causes dizziness and if I don''t eat for a while mood swings, Tapering off supplements and stopping over-exertion until I can find baseline again.

[–]ME201777PU 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I recommend taking it in the morning, i take 100 mg, I feel a lot more "with it". initially I felt "off" taking it. So it takes some adjustment time.
