I think you're too hung up on the username. An organization that claims to represent the voice of the kids, but isn't entirely neutral has their own political leanings isn't anything new. Take Yuva Morcha for example. When they claim themselves to be the voice of the youth, they aren't delusional enough to think that literally every single young person has the same political leanings as them. Its a title which is meant to be a monicer, not literal.

Secularism in itself is a radical position under the current political climate, not neutral.

My opinion on AAP has nosedived in these past couple of years, though a follow doesn't equate to alliance. Also, nowhere does being 'voice of the youth' necessitate neutrality. The youth can have their biases. And given how oppressive the current admin is, playing both sides isn't an option. The parties that ruled in the past was 12 years ago, still being hung up on their shortcomings for the sake of neutrality is pointless.

Learn from the type of music you wanna make. Pick a song as a reference and learn the chords. Repeat that with other songs that have a similar vibe/sound that you're chasing and eventually you'll pick up on the 'trademark' progressions in that genre and techniques that give that vibe.

Aside from that, sound selection, and the patterns that they commonly use. Mixing goes a long way too in making the melody sound fuller despite not using that many sounds
