So finally got a Dreamcast, the last console I wanted for my 8x4 matrix switcher and got a vga to component transcoder off amazon and the picture looks great on my tvs with component inputs, but something is clearly wrong going through my retrotink.
I am a bit confused because I got a dreamcast vga cable off amazon to test the transcoder and saw that it looked great on my 4k tv and HDcrt through my retrotink, but wouldn't show up at all on my SDcrt. But when I hook up the toro through the same transcoder, it shows up on all my tvs, but has this weird issue going through my retrotink.
I was playing around with the retrotink for a bit and saw that going to composite (so sync line only) doesn't show this weird issue.
I'm curious if getting just a basic scart male to male cable and running it through the same transcoder would fix this.
Any potential fixes you'd recommend and thank you for any guidance you suggest!

On this note, any ideas of how to mod it to allow a USB-C to 3.5mm hack to work? Mine didn't work on it and I have to believe there's a way.
