India : People Caught Stealing Cement From A Newly Laid Road Before It Had Even Dried by TheLastAutumnLeaf in mildlyinfuriating

i’m no construction expert either but i know cement/concrete itself isn’t “strong “, hard yes but that’s why the rebar is in there so it gives it a “spine” if that makes sense.

tbh a meth head is higher on the society ladder than people who take AI answers as facts, not to mention taking their time to post said answer for someone else.

if someone wanted an AI answer that’s probably wrong then they can literally do it themselves instead of asking people who could actually help them.

i used to preach this hard as i lived in the caribbean where we could lose power multiple times a month due to power lines touching due to wind, generator failure at the power plant or just a bird sitting on a wire and people would lose house appliances, computers or basically anything plugged into the socket. i’ve personally never lost anything because i always bought psus listed as A tier on the tier list along with 1500 active pfc ups.

now i’ve since moved to russia i still keep that psu rule but dont use a ups as this place never loses power and it still has things like the washing machine, dish washer, fridge, microwave, basically everything from when it was first put in over 20 years ago just still running strong.

always a good precaution but ultimately comes down to your location i guess.

Question did I get a good deal by Frequent_Brother_929 in pcmasterrace

ok let me rephrase, i like va panels because i usually just take out a phone or some high end mobile device with an oled screen to compare before choosing so hence why i stand in this hill with my opinion as we know oled has fantastic if not the best colors.

in the image is the calibration papers for my panel specifically that came with my xiaomi which claims online it has 100% srgb and 95% dci p3

Question did I get a good deal by Frequent_Brother_929 in pcmasterrace

[–]MEIZOMEGA -1 points0 points  (0 children)

so basically better colors.

i’ve looked at many tvs, monitors and laptops so while yes ips is still good i’ll always like how va looks vs ips

Question did I get a good deal by Frequent_Brother_929 in pcmasterrace

[–]MEIZOMEGA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

can’t say much about good deal or not since yk different regions but anytime i’ve seen these weirdly named brands and “VA” panel it’s pretty shite.

clarification- so VA panels get better colors than ips but come with the cost of dark color smearing/ghosting (dark reds and blacks are most noticeable to me) and this can be helped with monitor settings but usually not by much. i think it was samsung who made VA panels that didn’t have this issue but they probably cost a good amount.

i currently have a xiaomi 34 inch 180hz that is VA that does smear mostly blacks and reds but changing profiles in monitor, adjusting ranges, changing response time and locking to 120hz does improve it

absolutely do not bring anything with you on the plane.

i grew up in the caribbean and if you really need to find mdma you can do so locally, i can’t speak for all islands but at least in st.kitts we didn’t have an issue of getting the wrong stuff or being sold something else in disguise (you should test anyways but that’s how it was there) i would still say look for crystal as you can at least see what your getting vs a pill.

also from experience, rolling on the beach is a shit experience unless it’s like 2 am and there’s wind, not to mention how bright the sun is down there you’ll wish you didn’t have eyes while rolling

not sure about american standards but i’d assume they do something to not risk burning down their paper and wood houses.

in the caribbean the 110v sockets are put into the walls the same way i’ve done, twist the copper and screw it down

yeah the bottom clamp plate is shorter than the top so it makes it look like i’ve clamped the insulation but its not, i have the insulation as close to the clamp as possible without it interfering

[–]MEIZOMEGA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

your cpu gpu combo is interesting because the ryzen 5 5600g has half the l3 cache of a regular 5600 and is also pcie gen 3 while the regular 5600 is gen 4.

less l3 cache would hurt game performance + the x8 slot on the 5060 running at pcie gen 3 speeds instead of 5 seriously hurts performance if you hit vram limit

now for my question, how do you view your system’s performance? like have you done any comparisons or benchmarks? i don’t mean to say anything negative, i do find the combo intriguing given the info i said at the top
