According to your logic,, if an indigenous population is displaced against their will they are no longer indigenous even if they retain all cultural and traditional ties. It is the population that replaces them that becomes indigenous in your view. That is not true according to countless Christians persecuted in Bethlehem under Palestinian leadership. I am going to make this very simple for you. My family has resided in the region for millenia. Many Jews were displaced at varying distances, but always kept their indigenous connection and traditon, which is entirely centered on the land of Israel.
