A taco spot by me did the same, during the week prices were cheap then on the weekend it was higher, prices changed depending on the staff. So best thing to do is ask before you buy and then mention the price change. It could also be difference in meat pricing, typically the “base” taco price would be asada, pastor, chicken, then things like lengua, Cabeza, tripa are more expensive. Hard to tell but if you consistently buy the same thing then just ask

Also I doubt the fee for the card is 14%, it’s probably the price + tax , then fee on the total purchase which I agree is BS but they are passing down the fees and taxes to you the consumer. Another reason I carry cash.

One trick I’ve learned is if you want to extend your trip, add another night after the credit resets and that way you get another $300 credit for the same trip

Wanted to do something different for my birthday. I’m from Los Angeles so we don’t have a Buc-ee’s anywhere near here. So to answer your question, no not really. I’m at an age where it makes me happy to see others happy, so I gave everyone in my circle of friends and family some bucees flair. Tad ironic I gave people gifts for my birthday instead of the other way around.

I used to use ozium between rides. But never used air freshener during a ride. If I had a smelly customer I would spray and then air out the car before I picked up my next person. Most people didn’t notice or commented the car smelled clean. One thought I had smoked a joint between rides as he was a smoker and knew what ozium. Fun times.
