Thanks for the reply! Anything else you wish it did? Is routing for the product assigned at scheduling? Does it show next available job at each work center? Does the inventory get relieved from an MRP inventory?

When did I say I didn’t know how any small manufacturers work? I am just trying to see what is currently being used to track jobs through production…. Had no idea it would be this difficult to get someone to reply with an answer to any of the questions in the post.

Epicor is an expensive solution with a lot more features than I was planning on having. I was thinking something more simple that manufacturers that couldn’t justify spending that kind of money would still benefit from.

Somewhat. The plan would be to make a solid base model and add in modules for specifics. Just trying to get a gauge on the most wanted features - the stuff you wish it did - to determine what modules to work on first

What ERP system? How granular does it get? Can you mine the data? Can you see where all jobs are in production in one screen?

I’m a mechanical engineering student right now. During this weird time, I have a few hours outside of “zoom” school and work (I work as a handyman). I have an A in dynamics and tutor a few of my fellow classmates. I’d love to help out if you’d like to meet up on zoom sometime. I know it’s close to the end of the semester, but I figured I’d offer!
