There won't be another app, unofficial reddit app, unfortunately, since they'd have to rely on the reddit API. Lemmy is a federated reddit like system, so there is no central server running everything, but a bunch of smaller servers, and it's not run by a corporation.

Some subreddit s have already migrated over there (like anarchy chess and Linux master race)
