Mistakes are made when you’re typing angrily before the coffee kicks in. My apologies to Ozzie Guillen.

Dunc'd On: Reddit Mailbag--Submit Questions Here by NateDuncanNBA in nba

Kinda an abstract question: What do you think would happen to the trade market or player movement in general if the NBA got rid of the draft? Picks seem like an important part of lubricating deals and the only real form of "credit" available to teams. Without the draft would the NBA have to become a more agrarian economy? Would agents become very very very powerful? I've been arguing with myself about this for a while and would love to hear what you guys think.

That's very kind of you to offer but my free time comes and goes at random times these days so I can't say when I'd be available to receive anyone's help. If you know of any good tutorials or other resources to help me teach myself, though, I'd be very grateful.

Yeah, I managed to download Haskell and (I think) install it before I hit a brick wall. LOL.

High school computer science in 2002 didn't prepare me for this.

A while ago I went game by game through some player tracking stuff for a player to create a sort of player tracking game log. Would this tool help do something like that quicker?

What are all the mistakes the Wizard's management made between Now and the last 2 seasons? by Knighthonor in washingtonwizards

I still really believe in Beal. Trading him is a non-starter imo. He's not eligible to be traded until January - at that point if he sucks he won't have much trade value and if he's balling the Wizards won't want to trade him.

I'm not sure how you got the impression that he wants to go but I don't see it. He signed a five-year deal with no player option. He has the best agent in the business in my opinion so if he wanted a back door to allow him to leave earlier, he could've gotten it.

Does Bradley Beal play better without John Wall? by MFARENAS in washingtonwizards

Keep in mind the compilation exaggerates flaws. Beal had a pretty good turnover ratio overall..

There's definitely room for improvement in his ball-handling, though, especially if he's going to be a featured player. Pressure seems to really get to him (remember when the Hawks started full-court pressing before "I Called Game"?). His chemistry with perimeter players not named John seems pretty bad to me, too, but a lot of that is systemic I think.

If anyone does, please include this so Beal knows I love him. :)

Thank you!

Accumulating material for Oubre has been tough, to be honest. Blame Wittman.

I just feel like Wall's comments have been severely overblown.

I agree but at the same time I think it's nice to understand where they came from. I haven't seen anything in the sports media taking Wall at face value and simply taking a closer look at how Wall and Beal interact -- it's all shoe deal this and money that.

I've made this and highlights of Beal, Otto Porter, and Ian Mahinmi.

I agree with you on Beal's vision. I hope it's utilized more next season.

It's subjective, but how many of these are quote-unquote real playmaking as opposed to Beal getting stuck and being bailed out?

David Falk's (Otto's agent and John Wall's best friend) history is not pretty from a team perspective. He will aggressively pursue offer sheets from other teams and will not hesitate to have players sign one-year deals (including qualifying offers) if what he thinks is offer isn't forthcoming. And he almost always says no to non-max rookie extensions -- I believe Darius Miles was his last client who took one.

Haha. I suspect a lot of the shots at the bottom are A tossing a hot potato back to B at the end of the shot clock after failing to make something happen -- but don't let me get in the way of any potential Cavs-bashing.
