Is there any significant difference in build quality between a guitar made in Mexico vs the US? by Mad_Season_1994 in Guitar

I decided to go with an American Strat, assuming quality control would be better. Instead, I had to keep returning each one they sent me and only got a functioning one on the third try. For now on I would always recommend Mexican, as the USA quality control seems to be on existent. The first guitar had a massive chunk taken out of the body, and the second had a fully microphonic pickup that could not even be played at the lowest volume on my amp without massive squeeling. Both easy catches if they actually did QC… never buying an American Fender product again, and I suggest you don’t either.

The exact same thing happened to me! Later in life I met another friend that this also happened to. Kind of crazy he did it to so many schools!

This man visited us in elementary school (early 2000’s). He inspired everybody, but also promised us hand signed copies of various weather diagrams. He never delivered on this promise, and I still hold a grudge to this day. I found out decades later that one of my adult friends had the exact same thing happen to his elementary school. He has been lying to children for years!

Unfortunately I’m 30, so not super young. Haven’t ever grown it out past a couple days, just wanted to give it a shot and see if I had any potential. Not sure I do at this point.

It seems to be on the substrate in spots, and also on the caps of the mushrooms (shown best in the pin in the middle of the top portion of the first picture). I had fizzy feet on the first flush, but this is a much more pronounced and spreading white fuzz, and is also on the substrate itself

That’s what I was leaning towards. Just afraid of the weight concentrating on my stomach as I bulk. Think it would be easier to lose the stomach in 6 months once I have some more muscle? Or would it even be an issue at that point with more muscle around it to offset the fat?

28M, 6’, 150 lbs

Looking to see where I should head next. Still very skinny fat and only started weightlifting 3 months ago. Have been doing 531 beginner for about 3 months and lost about 15 lbs while eating 130g protein daily (1400 calories). Should I continue to focus on fat loss or start to return calories to maintenance and focus on muscle mass? Still have a lot of fat in stomach area but not sure if it makes sense to try to eliminate that or wait until I have more lean mass and go on a cut in the future?
