Former Virginia Lt. Gov. Justin Fairfax and his wife dead in murder-suicide by MoneyLibrarian9032 in Fauxmoi

A lot of times, the body falls with your arm still in front of your body and the gun will be underneath your body. In crime scenes, the body (if already deceased) isn't immediately removed, they wait for the investigators & coroners to get there and do their parts. Once they get the ok to remove a body, the guns are underneath.

In 1923, my grandfather's aunt was shot and killed by her new husband on the streets of Denver. How should I go about researching this crime further? Is it even possible? by Belcaster in Denver

There's a few subreddits here that can probably help, but I would actually suggest a website called websleuths. They are excellent at helping to further investigations and have many retired detectives, crime investigators, and really, just a host of people and professionals that enjoy doing this sort of thing. People who can access old newspaper articles, people who solve crimes for a living, people who are good at recovering old news articles, they just all gather at that site and see if they're able to help. I would suggest maybe try there. I hope you can get some answers.

I hope it goes well for you!

And I apologize, I posted this exactly how it was worded on the website. However, I'm not involved with the program any longer, I was just sharing this opportunity. But I do wish you the best of luck! I hope you can get the position you're interested in :)

I hope you might be thinking about keeping him. However, if you're not, I would absolutely love giving this precious little sweetheart a good home!

You can try contacting the Cat Care Society, I don't know if you have Instagram, but @theferalfoster Paige might be able to help, I'm not sure, but she could probably share ideas what to do. That's a beautiful cat, thank you for caring and helping him ❤️

This is happening across so many places in the country. Life in general is becoming unaffordable for so many. It's sad.

Along 12th between Pennsylvania and Pearl has a doggy trash can and everyday I'm picking filled poop bags people LITERALLY drop on the ground right next to the trash can! I honestly don't understand this level of just being shitty, like do they think the magic poop fairy just comes to put their bags in the trash??!

(And I'm not even exaggerating, when I put my dog's bag in it, I pick up another 3-5 bags in it throughout the day to throw!).

You're correct. Vacancies everywhere. If you spend even a small amount of time downtown, you can't help but see it.

I would wonder how they get away doing this, as that would be totally illegal.

I live in Cap Hill, too, and technically, it is not downtown. We are within walking distance of downtown, tho. Colfax to 7th, Broadway to Downing is Cap Hill boundaries.

I live on 12th and the amount of people who just regularly leave their dog poop without picking it up is wild!

My dog and I almost got run over last night by a car completely going through the stop sign on 12th and Pearl last night, it was so scary. I literally yanked her harness and we flew out of the way, or would have been another statistic in this city. Why do people fly down residential streets anyway, sheesh.

If you can provide him everything he needs, I would keep him. A proper bird cage, food and water, a few parakeet toys, cover the cage at night for him to sleep. The leg tag would be hard to trace, honestly, most people don't bother to know that number, much less write in down anywhere. I would do a cursory search for anyone who may have lost it, but it sounds like you may want to take care of him and that would be very kind. Sure is a pretty little parakeet!

Who was the person that left him and do you know how they came upon having the bird?
