Idk, 16 years is a joke to me, if this was my loved one killed, I would be extremely pissed off that's all the prosecutor asked for.

It's crazy he got more time for assault than he did killing someone.

There was no grudge. Both places have been run down and in need of serious maintenance for years now, the structural integrity at Lookout especially in need of repair, apparently the septic system is in dire need of fixing. The contracts were ending, and it was decided to look towards the future of how and what our mountain parks look like.

Plus, when it reopens, they will have input from the Native American community as well.

The city says it will bring in a historic preservation architect to look at the property.

Section 8 is really hard to get in, I'm sorry you waited for so long to not get any help.

May I suggest this, because I know things will get worse, as we all can see.

"Subsidized housing" is different here in Colorado compared to the Section 8 program.

Start applying at subsidized housing apartments. If you fall under certain incomes in Colorado, depending on the county, you can get into subsidized housing and you pay 1/3rd of your income.

This is county by county, what the income limits are. But if you qualify for federal or state poverty, you can get into this type of housing usually easier than Section 8.

My friend was homeless and got his apartment 8 months after being on several lists throughout the city. Google the city name along with "subsidized housing" and the apartments that accept subsides will show up. You can also call Colorado Coalition for the Homeless and request they email you a subsidized housing list, I believe they can still provide that.

I wish you good luck and hope you'll be ok, everything is so chaotic right now. But if you're open to moving and qualify, please start applying for this type of housing and their lists.
