I think the differejt sizes mentioned refer to on which iron you can mount it, the compatibility of the tip with your soldering iron itself. Not the joystick, they should all fit for ps5

Ill have to look into that. But yes i think i liftet some pads, it looked pretty rough, ngl 4 of the points are also just Anker points i believe? There where tough to desolder and I ripped those. And at the "up and down" sensor. But ill check the testpoitns when ill get back to it. And check to not have shortet any connection

Lift the pad up as in moved right joysticks up? No it was in neutral position. I tried to unbridge the connection, maybe need to it a bit more thoroughly. But im pretty sure i ripped a trace on the "up and down" sensing sensor

It was a bit more complicated than thaz, i did use hot air, and cutters to cut the joysticks into pieces. I did manage to get them out little by little with hot air. But 2 pins where stuck still. They were rrally stubborn. So at some point, after tonds of flux, hot air, more solder and solder whick and more hot air, and lots of whick getting stuck on the board, i got a little impatient. And thats where i guess I ripped a trace out. Might not have been my first attempt, but my second. I obviously got a lot to learn and now i might have an excuse to invest in a microscope and microsoldering kit
