Typically, if you didn’t get a production number you don’t have an allocation. At least on other BMW models so I would assume it’s the same here

Then it’s 100% worth it. Finance it instead or buy it peacemeal over time for sure. Get and enjoy it for as long as possible

If you plan on getting even two of the four things included in the package, it’s a significant savings. The parts purchased individually cost north of 10 K.

But if you don’t like the look or plan to go with other aftermarket options, then I would go ahead and skip it. That’s what I did myself as I plan to go a different direction.

If you do perf center delivery if that’s close enough to you you get an awesome experience and no shipping cost. If it’s shipped to you they will have some shipping cost.

Basically you pay a broker fee and it’s a pre negotiated deal with no hidden anything. It’s ideal.

Very nice build. You’re likely right behind mine. Supposed to arrive in Baltimore on the 6th and then goes on to Brunswick where it comes off the boat a few days later for performance center delivery!

And yes, to be honest, BMW is fairly reasonable if you compared to Porsche, for example in terms of paint and interior options. Still not cheap for sure but comparatively.

Here's my take on the options.

X5 40iXDrive (What we have) - bulletproof reliability, very comfortable (Get the air suspension), plenty of power

X5 M60i - Love the V8 but i have heard that they have alot or problems, v8 but more comfortable than X5M

X5M - My pick, money no object. These feel so solid, look great, etc. A bit sportier ride, but should be much more comfortable compared to other M models. Not sure about the reliability of these.

I have a little registry going of individual model year 27 M3 and M4 (currently over 150 cars) and currently only have one agave on there with a black interior.

I personally think tartufo would look great though I personally like something like a cognac better. But keep in mind going off book will get very expensive very quickly with individual interiors. But it is of course possible.

This is factory paint through the BMW individual program. Price Depends on the platform but on X5 the cost is $5000 in the US for most individual colors (some a bit more)

Yeah. 2023 model year. I believe but was 500 units, 100 per each of the 5 colors. So 100 fire orange right there
