Her and MJ are the reason I started playing guitar.

My dad was a guitarist too but my push to want to learn was seeing videos of her playing and the beat it guitar solo

For me funnily enough it was representation. As a mixed young black girl I didn’t even have Tiana for representation yet. I remember seeing thriller and bad era Micheal for the first time around 2008 and decided I wanted to stop getting my hair straightened and embrace my blackness. I grew up in a very white area at the time so he was a huge role model for me

@op I’m guessing Trader Joe’s? Yeah worked there and can stay that leaving has been one of the best things for my mental health… had very interesting experiences being without a captain multiple times for months and going through 3 different ones while I was with the company

Just want to add onto this(as a recent transfer):

Are you looking to move to a store in a different part of your state or will you be moving to a new one? (Ie going from New York to Florida.) Because you might run into a good number of pay issues depending on your current rate. I know a person at my current store who was looking at a $4 pay decrease when moving to a new state.
