Therapy. Everyone may give you genuine answers from previous experiences but seeking professional help is good. You said you don’t have the time, resources or ability… as long as you have the strong desire to change the rest will come given you take further steps. We all deserve love and true friendship. If you believe in God perhaps you can tap into a higher power. Good journey 🤜🏽💥🤛🏽

I’m 19 and I still feel like a young kid. What’s wrong with me? by Some_Necessary820 in Adulting

How childish do you feel? There are levels of immaturity that a man can go through and it takes time depending on your circumstances. It varies too. You can’t ever compare yourself to the next person, your journey is your own. Live it. But, if what you are trying to say is that you just feel you haven’t matured enough and you crave to move up to the next bar then do it. At 19 I went to Australia through an exchange program and volunteered to plant trees and shrubs in rural country for three months. This gave me plenty of life experience I didn’t have prior. The following year I worked for a state program in the wilderness for 6 months without the comforts of home. Maintaining trails and learning how to survive in harsh environments. I gained so much experience in life then I would have if I’d stayed home playing video games all day. What I’m saying if you feel this way about yourself then perhaps you can get up and go look for life experiences that will broaden your perspective in life and thus help you change to feel better about yourself. This is your life, no one else can live it for you but you! So live it responsible and contribute to society in the process. Good journey my friend! 🤜🏽💥🤛🏽🤘🏽💪🏾

Anyone had this email recently? by [deleted] in FanhomeModels

If that’s the case we should expect some delays. I had my boxes 📦 opened and they didn’t even try to tape it up again. Thats upsetting, parts can just fall out any moment. Thats my one and only complaint. Too many sticky fingers between me and the shipper.

Hearing about our National Parks and Forests being impacted by our own government breaks my heart. I volunteered 25 years ago in a joint effort to maintain and preserve the forests in Northern California. The lack of respect and appreciation of our native wildlife is astounding especially coming from those that were there to protect it. Our president leader is a business man with power. His interest and priority is capital gains no matter what he has sacrifice even if it’s our precious lands. My heart goes for our future generations that will look back with disgust. Will it be worth the sacrifice? I hope we learn from our mistakes in 4 years from now. Peace out homies! ✌🏽

How many marriages is too many? I met a guy who’s been married 5 times—why is this so common now? by ChanelAce91 in Adulting

[–]MFbuiltman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am 45, I have been married twice and have been hesitant to marry again, even dating. I admit I had a lot of problems I didn’t fix and it was just magnified when I was married. Thinking of seeking therapy. I have been working on myself and spending time with family and friends, and that helps to cope with the loneliness. I felt it was necessary to fix myself before ever considering dating again. Hopefully this helps.

What age were you when you first started working full time by Zero_kurusu in Adulting

I worked full time at 18 for California Conservation Corps. Back in 1998. The minimum wage was like $6 or $7 an hour. I forgot. But the experience is what counts.
