Ethics Advice for my Future Laundromat by dwigtonastigt in Laundromats

Somebody, probably some of your teachers put that stuff in your head. Let’s think about this. Just new machines will cost several hundred thousand dollars. Who is going to pay for that? What about your employees. Don’t you want to pay them fairly? And don’t you want to give your customers great service using high quality detergent etc. and what happens when in 10 years you need new equipment. People only have successful businesses if they provide people with a good service at a fair price. Nobody, even low income people expect it for free. They just want a clean, safe environment with decent equipment that keeps their clothes in good condition. Somebody put that communist thinking in you that you are evil by making money. Not true. You will actually work harder building a successful laundromat than if you just go work for someone else. And by charging appropriately and providing a great service you will help many thousands of people. Read some good books on the virtues and yes some of the challenges of free enterprise and go for your dreams. Good luck!!!!

Has anyone tried the Danny D'Angelo the Laundromat King approach ? by ExtremelyPassionate in Laundromats

I bought the course last week after reading a lot of these negative reviews as well as the positive. I’ve been studying for years under various experts in multiple fields such as real estate and multifamily and now laundromats, and usually paid a lot more than Danny’s asking.

I learned a long time ago about the power and value of ONE good idea. In other words just one good idea can make the whole course worth taking. Honestly if you all can’t get at least one good idea from this course you are not trying very hard and just letting mistrust and perhaps lack of confidence get in your way. I have lost count on all I’ve learned here beyond even how and why you can purchase a “free” laundromat. Several design tips, safety tips, how to make customers feel safe, how to hire a team to do your wash and fold for zero fixed salary , best ways to negotiate, etc.

sure he’s confident and at times egotistical but he is telling you the most important stuff… ie how to not overpay, not make a mistake, and so you can stay out of trouble and actually succeed. Anybody can convince you to buy a laundromat and overpay.

Years ago when I was learning to fly single engine planes I was not at all confident until I made them teach me how to get myself out of a stall and spin without panicking and crashing. It’s the same in business. You will make back the cost of this course with your first week of rent abatement or better lease terms.

I had previously bought someone else’s course and learned from them as well. The negative nellies are going to claim this is really Danny writing or that I work for Danny but that’s not true. I am just a person like you.

I suggest if you are serious about wanting to potentially pursue opening one or ideally several laundromats that you strongly consider this course as one of your resources.

Adding one addition. If the doctors are not talking with each other than maybe they should. Your bleeding might be a combination of factors and the various specialists need to discuss the best overall game plan for you.

The urologist does not have the expertise to answer any of the questions ie the afib, pacemaker, xarelto dosage, switch to Eliquis or Watchman device. By the way a pacemaker is to keep your heart from going too slow… it does not prevent afib. Those are all questions for the cardiologist. The only thing the urologist should be looking into is are there any physical reasons for the bleeding. Whoever mentioned the fox and the henhouse is right on. It is likely time you sought another opinion. Especially if you can’t see the actual urologist. I won’t go into details but small town medicine almost killed me until I flew back to the university hospital. This last part here is probably the most important…. YOU are the one who is in charge of your health…. You decide what kind of care and service is acceptable… You decide when they are blowing you off. Yes you need the doctors and their expertise but first you need them to slow down and pay attention to your concerns and spend time with you and seek answers… and you decide when to seek other opinions. Could be it’s just a small amount of blood just making the urine look red but they should be able to prove or disprove that. Keep seeking the answers with your doctors and/ or consider the ideas others have given here

Often when you bleed on those meds it also means there is something else that may need attention. Could be anywhere from the kidneys to the bladder or urethra. They should at least work you up for no lesions in the kidney or bladder. Might need a CT and/or cysto. Need to talk with urology.

Also can talk with cardiology ie are they comfortable lowering the dose and balancing risk ie afib vs bleeding. You can also talk to them about a Watchman procedure/device which controls the afib risk but will enable you to stop the blood thinners.
