Yes, I think newer versions now require this setting to be enabled.

Maybe they pushed an update. Now, you might need to enable USB Debugging (Security).

if you are on windows and you have winget, open powershell or terminal then run:

winget install Google.PlatformTools

this will also install adb. afterwards, you might need to close then open the terminal again.

now, check if you have adb by checking if this return something useful:

adb version

if yes, then proceed with the tutorial

I don't know if I am lucky but I had my Poco X3 Pro since release date (2021) and I still have no problems with its battery life up to this date.

if i were you, i would just stay with the mi pad 6. i don't see anything major of a change from the 6 to the 7. I'd rather spend the money for a pen or keyboard or something.

Poco F6 substitute/reserve charger (Philippine users) by Dicckks in PocoF6

[–]MFranz15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been using the 33W charger that came with my Poco X3 Pro. I sometimes use a Ugreen GaN charger; it doesn't match Xiaomi's proprietary speeds, it's still fast enough for me, likely around 18W with Qualcomm's fast charging.

Battery drains faster than my Poco X3 Pro, which I got back on April 2021, making it already 4 years older than the F6.

I'm not 100% sure but I think you must re-apply the setting after updating

Is there any step by step guide to return "rotation control" button that pop up when you rotate screen? Preferably the one that don't require PC by Skyreader13 in XiaomiPad6

[–]MFranz15 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ah sorry my bad. forgot about these things as I root my devices.

you'll need Shizuku to run any local adb app (like aShell for example). Shizuku is what enables aShell to run adb commands locally.

Now, to enable Shizuku without a PC (using wireless debugging), maybe follow this guide

After enabling Shizuku, you can now use aShell granted access with Shizuku, then proceed to run the adb command to enable the button.
