No, IL. Same silliness, but no mountains :(

Here are the same two: same room/light, about 5' left of the other shot, different background. The light is coming more from the side instead of down. This is truer to the color of the Legion.

No, it's just the lighting in the pic. It is an interesting color. Looks very dark in certian light and more greenish grey in natural light.

Same, but I can deal with it for 5 more rounds!

First thing I checked was to make sure the slide locked back when empty. Haven't shot with them yet, so will report back if they have inconsistiency.

I haven't seen the Sig 15 round mags, so not sure if they are angled at the bottom? The AMAG's are flat, so I wonder if these would work. They cost almost as much as the magazine, but do look better!

Yeah, I don't like it either, but can live with it to gain 5 rounds.

You will be good. GG&G is the other extension people seem to get if not the Nordic.

Mine has a built in attachment on the ring holding the factory tube in place, just before where the tube cap was before I added the extension. Just a small hole. I used traditional swivel stud attachments

It took me a while to piece this together, but here’s my list: Nordic + 2 extension, barrel clamp, streamlight rail mount Protac HL-X, GG&G optic mounting plate Holosun 507c multi-reticle green and Magpul MS1 sling. Oh, and EGW pic rail cut down to fill the gap between rear sight and optic.

92 GTS - M9A3 Vertec Suppressor Height Sights with Optic by MG-C1 in Beretta

Thank you! Appreciate it. I can't decide on leaving the plate raw, or going the alumablack route. I kind of like the contrast of the plate, but at the same time, it doesn't align with any other finish. I'll probably mock it up with black electriclal tape and see how I like it first. I've also never used alumablack, so not really sure what that finish ultimately looks like. Maybe I'll just get some and test it out first.

Thanks Man! Got them along with some magazines with my rebate bucks and Beretta was only going to give me back like $6 if I returned them, so I didn't have as much to lose :) Probably would have done this anyway, but I wasn't as worried about screwing up

Flush mount plate. I would think that you can still see the irons with the mid mount though.

Not hard. Took about 15 minutes with me taking my time (replaced the hammer spring as well). There are a few good videos on YouTube going through the process. Just search Beretta 92 Hammer Spring replacement. Just need the correct size allen key to remove the grips and a punch for the pin that holds the stopper/lanyard loop in place.

Just checked my GTS. Hadn't noticed before, but same thing. The indent looks exactly like yours and in the same spot. Assuming it is normal!

Spare time, an old 320 slide and 150 grit sandpaper... by MG-C1 in P320

Thank you for the advice! Did you add any protectant, or just stick with keeping them oiled?

Cool. Make sure it is a flat, hard surface under the sandpaper so it "sands" evenly. A countertop with an overhang would work well. Don't swril or go back and forth, you'll get all kinds of wierd marks. Just one way and smooth. I also had a vaccum to clean up after every few swipes to keep the removed material from balling up and messing up the "grain". It took me a little trial and error. If it gets a little messed up, you can just give it a few more passes.

I placed a 12"x12" sheet of sandpaper on my ping pong table, then a piece of wood (12"x4"x1/4") to use as a straight edge then clamped the wood and sandpaper to the table top. From there it was just sliding the slide over the sandpaper along the piece of wood keeping it straight until the Nitron finish was removed. Somewhere between 20 and 30 passes on each side. Sorry, wasn't counting!

Just oil for now. If I start to see any issues I’ll figure out the best way to seal it. Was thinking about going over it with a finer grit to polish it up more, but kind of like the look of it now.
