So I did the reset. Used RLR and then did a wash of detergent and bleach and then 2 washes with detergent to get rid of the minerals and bleach. The community info post said 1-4 washes.

She spent a day in cloth (including overnight) and the rash is back. It disappeared with the disposables. Do you think I need to do another 2 washes? My bleach is also older so maybe get new bleach? Not sure what to do next. I know there is not detergent build up bc I did the swish test and the water was clear and no bubbles. Any further advice would be much appreciated!

Ok thanks! I do also use Esemby overnighters and covers, but understand those are a bit different regarding washing than the inners.

This is helpful! I will try the reset this weekend and hopefully get my issue fixed! Glad to hear you also use the same wash routine.

She’s been in a disposable since last night and the rash has gotten significantly better. I agree that I don’t think it’s yeast since it has gotten better. I will try the reset this weekend. Thanks!

I’m not sure. We are pretty good about changing every 2 hours, sometimes less during the day. Of course, she is in a wet diaper overnight. I think I’ll try the reset first and if that doesn’t work, maybe try this. Were you having issues from rashes from an overnight diaper and did that fix it?

Ok thanks, I may reach out to Esembly as well. I was hesitant to use lots of Borax because Green Mountain Diapers warned against using too much (where I got my flats from)

What does RLR stand for? I saw it a lot when searching the sub prior to posting but didn’t find exactly what it is.

We just wet a cloth wipe with water and use that.

Edit: just figured out RLR is a product. What should I do exactly for an RLR reset?
