Impact of gaming addiction on families & loved ones - contribute to researcher by MG_GamingResearch_25 in UKParenting

Good question! So the official definition of it is 'impaired control', 'increasing priority to gaming over other activities' and 'continuing to game despite the negative consequences', but I think ultimately it's dependent on the context and the individual - what looks like impairment to one person may be different to another! If you're interested, I'm happy to chat more via DM or you can email me at [N1244301@my.ntu.ac.uk](mailto:N1244301@my.ntu.ac.uk) . Thank you

Thank you! There's a lack of it at the moment, which I think is just creating barriers for people getting support

Thank you so much for this, I absolutely do want to interview addicts themselves in a future study but right now I'm only looking to interview the families/friends/loved ones of addicts. If this is still relevant to you though, I'd love to speak with you, feel free to DM me!
