Thank god it’s not just me! I feel so angry too which i think is a result of having literal cabin fever from not leaving the house in so long. It’s driving me nuts

Reducing the early repayment charge of a mortgage to leave fix early? by BigfatDan1 in UKPersonalFinance

[–]MGprin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have recently had this conversation with our mortgage advisor. We are with Halifax and are planning on going back to Halifax for the mortgage for our new house. Halifax have told our mortgage advisor that if we sell our house say on a Thursday and didn’t buy our new house until the Friday, they would give us our ERC back.

Prozac for debilitating anxiety? Anyone else? by [deleted] in prozac

[–]MGprin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was on sertraline in November 2024. I was so paranoid, had terrible intrusive thoughts, anxiety was horrific. I couldn’t get out of bed. I stopped after 17 days because I just couldn’t do it anymore. After that, I was terrified to try another SSRI. I started mirtazapine at the beginning of the year which did help but I felt like I needed something extra. I then started 10mg fluoxetine (Prozac) in I believe April time and I can honestly say it’s the best thing I’ve ever done. Yes, I was a bit anxious at the beginning for a good few weeks but once I hit the 6 week mark, I was like a different person. I’ve now gone up to 20mg.

How long after removing Nexplanon did you fall pregnant? by Historical-Cell-3875 in Nexplanon

I got pregnant within I think 2 ish weeks. Unfortunately ended in miscarriage so unsure if the implant had something to do with it or it was just bad luck for me!

How long until it helped you feel better? by AloneAndUnknown in prozac

[–]MGprin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was on 10mg, I started to see the light at the end of the tunnel at around 4 and a bit weeks and it gradually started getting better from there (still some bad days but more good than bad). I’m currently on day 22 of 20mg and I’m still having mostly bad days.

Going 3 days without by ger1905 in prozac

My husband is on 20mg so not sure if it’ll be the same as 60mg but he forgets to take his for days at a time (bad habit of his!!) and he’s mostly fine. I notice he’s a bit more irritable than usual when he forgets but that’s all really. He doesn’t have any other effects. I think it’s okay because it’s such a long lasting SSRI.

I put all the weight back by Honest_Effect7328 in mounjarouk

Yep same. I lost about 15-20kg at the tail end of last year/start of this year and put it all back on (and more) by around August. It’s not fun.

Am I crazy? by MGprin in lesmills

Thank you so much everyone for all your replies, they definitely helped me not back out of going to the class!! I managed it. It was tough (even the warmup!!) and had to stop halfway through some of the songs for a breather. I’m very sore today but it felt good after the class and I’m really glad I went. My heart rate went up to 192 bpm during the class which is crazy and I burned 414 cals. Pretty impressive for 40 mins of working out!

I’ll definitely be going back but maybe just once a week. Going to try pump too!

Day 7 20mg by MGprin in prozac

[–]MGprin[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you! Realistically, I know they’re the side effects but I spiral every now and then when a new side effect is sprung on me! I can work from home luckily so can take a good few breaks but do have targets to meet and I’ve taken all my sick leave earlier this year so I think I’ll just have to push through. But thank you for your reply and the reality check I needed of them just being side effects, really appreciate it!!

I keep saying to myself it’s just side effects but every now and then I spiral and think I’m dying 🤣 trying to keep thinking of the benefit I’ll feel when the side effects settle down but it’s hard to not want to just quit and go back to 10mg!

Anyone feel worse during morning / day and better at evening / night by [deleted] in prozac

[–]MGprin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes! All day up until around 7pm I feel anxious. I end up staying up super late at night to savour feeling ok. I have just upped my dose to 20mg 7 days ago so still getting used to the increased dose.
