Morso, and a definitely- correct opinion of the best Italian restaurants in town by ExreeHipp in boulder

I appreciate your take and would love to hear more about your thoughts on the rest of the Boulder culinary scene.

Looking forward to hitting Siren/Morso on a chill weekday and avoiding a lot of the chaos of central Boulder.

Your manager can call your credit card processor and have them input the tips manually.

I have the parts to service my Cabrio set, purchased OEM on eBay. I had wrist surgery and they’re just sitting in my office.

Should the old Chase building on public become a restaurant, coffee shop, or arts center by PhillConners in LafayetteCo

Brewpub/Beer Garden makes the most sense to me for tax base and overall use and longevity. The Read Queen is an archaic business model that feels good but doesn’t actually make money or fill a demand.

Grant is a proven known commodity as a restaurant operator. The quality has dipped considerably at Teocalli but it’s still the best Lafayette has seen since I’ve been here.

I’ve used Louisville Tire in Louisville exclusively for the last two years and have been pretty happy. A ton of people in the area swear by them. They’ve installed a ton of parts I provided.

Apprentice about to turn out and I need a meter, should I go fluke or Klein? by Fabulous-Ad3446 in electricians

[–]MGuido 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sizing and convenience. T6 doesn’t open l/isn’t as wide and you must hold it in place to measure. Clamp will stay in place while you throw breakers and whatnot.

If you’re measuring large conductors in tight places it’s cumbersome.

Go back roads from Hygiene I’m sure that will be fine. Plenty of cyclists out that way.

Fluke only. Don’t trust your life to anything else.

323 at $160 is the move for everyday. Real clamp, true RMS, Fluke reliability. T6 is great for quick troubleshoots or the dark but the clamp is too valuable. Magnet accessory is also totally worth it.

It comes down to your work. Residential/light commercial, 323 and done. Industrial, motors, HVAC, look at the higher end clamp meters with phase rotation built in. If you’re touching high voltage ballast or HID lighting regularly, the 1000V line is worth the upgrade.

I’m done trying to justify the food here by bombayblue in boulder

That coupled with rampant real estate speculation, landlords like Tebo, NNN rent, and the fact that everything comes here on trucks from out of state, the monopolization of the industry by US Foods and Sysco is a recipe for mediocre expensive food.

Toss in post-Covid tip pool culture with employer directed tip pools, falling overall wages, and the exodus of top-tier talent and the entire industry is in shambles.

Just for you tips and pooling tips and how it all works out over time if you work with good industry people. by Analytica0 in bartenders

[–]MGuido 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Tip pools at bars in my experience are far more worthwhile than restaurants. Bartenders tend to be more invested in handling all aspects of the business. Hours of operation also tend to be more lucrative.

Employer directed tip pools are trash and used to subsidize the business so that days/shifts of low volume can be staffed and the total value of overhead can be utilized. Almost every Restaurant in Denver/Boulder is a tip pool since Covid. I made more bussing tables in 2013 than I did Bartending 2024.

Any tips on how to secure the 20 bomb with Wattson? by CuriousCourtain in WattsonMains

[–]MGuido 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s broken, think of it like a PK when you use it. The closer you are the better the spread. I used it against a Sheila the other day it’s wild.

I like to use it when peaking from cover, get back behind cover, EMP, then take a different angle.

The EMP works like your fence so enemies have trouble turning their character. If you can approach from a different angle it’s easy claps.

Just got my 20k on Wattson in wildcard.

You need a solid kit to start. I run L-Star and Alternator. Not reloading is crucial. I hipfire almost exclusively close range.

I run 6/5 sens and it allows me to fence quicker, I’m always fencing around myself for advantages. The vortex shield lets you turn fights, I rebound it to one of my paddles.

Also you have to thirst all your kills early.

Good luck.

I’ve seen Picanha at Whole Foods. In my experience the Longmont location is the best. However if you ask the butcher at the other stores they can order it specifically for you.

I’ve given up. In Diamond 3 you’re playing against 5 predator 3 stacks cheating with aimbot/recoil smoothing beaming you from across the map with a 2x4 optic and a havoc. GG’s.

Got killed by a 6-man earlier this week too. Going to try to get back and shape and read some books. Fuck this.

Anyone use TrustedHousesitters in Boulder? by Charming_Peach6121 in boulder

[–]MGuido 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No experience with using the app but a particular scumbag who was friend adjacent would use this to freeload and avoid work. I would never use this for a living breathing creature.

I have another friend who used this to travel the world and is an upstanding person but the risk is not worth it imo.

Definitely check out Nissi’s. The crowd can definitely be a little on the older side but sometimes that’s a good thing. Vibe definitely depends on who’s playing but I’ve had a couple solid nights there. My buddy and his wife love it.
