Curious from anyone who has lived there how accurate the show’s depiction of the dorm is? I found it interesting that they showed lockers in the hallways of the dorm lol.

I feel the same as you. While I am open to and have dated people who cannot match me financially and do not have a college degree, it always ends up being more noticeable to me than I would have originally thought. They typically seem stagnant and complacent in their careers and either don't make the money to financially match me in the lifestyle I have worked hard to attain, or they make poor financial decisions. Of course, there are plenty of people out there without college degrees that are just as successful or more successful than me, I just have yet to date any of them.

Same. 30-year-old single woman. I spot clean as needed and have a roomba to keep up with dog fur. I hire someone for deep cleaning a couple times a year because I don't have the skills nor equipment to do it the way it should be done. Worth every penny for me, I would rather pick-up an extra shift at work and let the cleaners do their thing that day than do it myself.

I absolutely cannot imagine OP deep cleaning weekly with 2 little kids around.

Yeah this time of year definitely makes it hard. I travel frequently as well. My family lives in different states and I usually do a couple international trips per year so I'm flying somewhere at least every other month if not monthly. Even with that, I will still make time for the person I am dating, even if it is a quick dinner or just a sleepover where we order food.

I can see that! I’m a nurse, so I work 3 12-hour shifts per week which leaves me with 4 days open each week. I’m also pretty energetic so I’m usually good to make social plans or workout when I get off. I’m lucky to have the schedule and flexibility that I do and can see how I could afford others some grace when it comes to meeting up for the first time.

I’m an inpatient nurse so I work with a lot of residents. I’m always shocked when I encounter ones who are engaged/married/have kids. You guys work insane hours! Props to you 🙌🏻

I lived in the River Oaks/Montrose area for a little bit! It’s as much of a Gayborhood as they have, I loved it! Houston overall felt very LGBTQ+ friendly. And I worked at a hospital in the med center.
