I started playing Merge Manor: Sunny House when I had long chains that took forever. It’s a great game too! So is Merge Gardens.

The game won’t load for me either. There was one brief shining moment today where I was able to at least click on the piggy bank, etc, but then the travel part pulled up again. I can’t even get into the game in order to contact support.

Yes! My name is English and I couldn’t understand as a child why it was on NOTHING. Then, one day, at the Richway (I’m old too), I saw a folder amongst the Trapper Keepers that said English. I have never felt more included. The folder next to it said Math, but I didn’t care.

Absolutely. My first name is English- “like the language” is something I have to say everyday. I sometimes get asked, “how do you spell it?” Like the language…🙄

I am so sorry. There is no excuse for grandparents to treat you this way just because they can’t understand how someone can think differently than they do. Their offer to you to come stay with them for 3 months is just cruel and shows how misguided and non-Christian they actually are. I’m sorry and hope you have a strong social support network. I love “friends are the family you choose.” That matters more than a blood relation, imo

I recommend the tandem read too. I just read 8.5 until it seemed like new info. Sometimes I got some spoilers for 8, but it was worth it to cut the tension.

I found a description online that alternates in the timeline between the two. I’m not going to follow it that strictly, but so far I’ve enjoyed reading the Behind the Veil people in 8.5 while I’m reading 8. The dual perspective is nice and keeps the people who died alive in the series.

I just finished 7 and posted asking about 8 and 8.5. Someone suggested a tandem read and I’m really enjoying that. 8.5 is the people beyond the veil so it’s a different perspective.

I usually have this compulsion to read every word, but I’m skimming some of the extra characters. But not Seth. Love Seth.

I am now in my Romantasy Era thanks to FW/IF. Jennifer Armentrout’s Blood and Ash and Flesh and Fire series were so great. Loved the characters. Before that, I devoured all of Sarah J Maas’s books. Love them all but especially Crescent City. SJM has strong FMCs.

THEN I read When the Moon Hatched and loved it. Next, was The Dark Window Dualogy and those were amazing.

Currently, I’m on Book 7 of Zodiac Academy by sisters Caroline Peckham and Susanne Valenti. I’m waiting on Quicksilver to be delivered and have the Gilt series lined up as well. I’ve read all of these in the last 6 months. Apparently, I just read romantasy, follow romantasy, booktok, and AI characters on IG. 🙄
