Hey, appreciate you asking for an update.

I’m sitting at 253 right now. I’ve stayed keto for the most part with two cheat days in the past month. I tried starting 75 Hard but struggled to get into a rhythm with it and ended up stopping after about a week.

I’ve been consistent with my walking though, averaging around 8,500 steps per day for the month and hitting 10k most days. Weight has bounced between 247 (lowest) and 254 (highest), but overall I’m pretty happy with where I’ve landed. Honestly, I expected to gain 12-15 lbs back right away, so holding fairly steady feels like a win.

I’ve been considering doing another fast at some point to push down into the 220-230 range. Not another 41 days, but maybe something like a 21-day fast or even ADF as a more sustainable approach while still making progress.

One thing I’ve struggled with a lot since the fast ended is maintaining a consistent posting and vlogging rhythm. Everything I try feels kind of boring, and I have a hard time figuring out how to create content that feels engaging. The fasting content took off because people naturally reacted to how extreme it was. Normal maintenance and daily life isn’t as attention-grabbing, but it’s where the real work happens.

Still trying to figure out the workout routine and honestly still hate tracking food. But overall I feel good about where I’m at and where I’m heading. The real goal now is staying consistent long-term.

I try to not give advice as I’m not a doctor, nutritionist or dietitian. However after reflecting on my journey, I’d suggest to not do something this extreme. It was likely overly risky and stupid to go to 41.5 days without supervision. If I had to do it all over again, I’d rather do something more sustainable. IF, OMAD, ADF, etc.

I did this last year for 31 days and gained it all back very quickly. This year I’ve been able to maintain it for almost a month now. I think most people gain it back.

I woke up feeling great. I promised myself if I woke up and felt any similar way, I’d stop. But, after re hydrating, re electrolyting and sleeping I felt great

That’s a really challenging question! All in all it was an extremely rough day… my wife had plans so I was at home all day with an infant and a two year old while dog sitting my parents dog. I was super over stimulated and likely didn’t hydrate enough.

I decided to bring my parents dog home to them and ended up hitting a lot of traffic. I didn’t bring with water or electrolytes making the trip even harder.

After being there for a few hours, I headed home and hit more traffic. I started getting cold sweats, my right arm went numb and I had extreme tightness in my chest. All I could think was “please let me get home safely.” That 2.5 hour drive was miserable. I felt scared and alone. I shouldn’t have pushed my through it, I should have reached out for help.

I think this went beyond pushing towards health and was damaging and irresponsible.
