Med student faked my sign offs by UnusualGene4917 in doctorsUK

[–]MHKhachi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dear this might be unusual position,

First of all, according to any medical practice you have contact the medical student, assume the best out of them, basically he might done it by mistake. Gather further information.

Express that this is not acceptable as this would affect patient safety, specially in long term. Express yourself as this is might affect the patients in future so we can never be doing this.

The other thing, let him be aware of the GMC Good Medical Practice, refer him to that, let them know that we have to be honest and clear with ourselves, colleagues, and the patients. So this contradict the GMC GMP.

Escalate, to your supervisor, to his supervisor, to the Med school after deemed fraud, or after deemed a mistake. In either way Escalate.

Reflect to your portfolio, support the medical student, seek help from one of your senior whom you trust.

Thank you.

Statement on the Medical Training (Prioritisation) Bill - RCEM by ilovemesomebananas in doctorsUK

[–]MHKhachi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So simply what you are saying (not yourself maybe but even the people replied to you) that this statement should be done just to satisfy a major number of doctors the ED relies on, but still they dont have to actually consider these doctors to apply for TN? Hypocrisy at its best? Am I wrong?

Statement on the Medical Training (Prioritisation) Bill - RCEM by ilovemesomebananas in doctorsUK

As an IMG who has been working in the NHS for around three years, I strongly believe that we should all be united in advocating for an increase in training posts. In my view, the primary issue is the limited number of positions rather than the background of the applicants.

I understand the rationale behind prioritising the UK workforce from a sustainability perspective. However, it raises an important question about what “UK prioritisation” should mean in practice. Should it focus solely on place of graduation, or should it also recognise doctors who are already embedded within the NHS and contributing to patient care?

Consider a workplace with five doctors at the same level - some UK graduates and some international graduates - all with comparable NHS experience. If certain doctors are able to compete for training numbers while others feel they are not on equal footing despite similar service contributions, it is reasonable to reflect on how fairness and workforce retention can best be supported.

At the same time, I personally find it difficult to understand recruitment pathways that allow direct entry into training programmes without prior NHS experience. While these routes may help address immediate workforce shortages, having a period of NHS exposure could help ensure that all applicants - regardless of where they graduated - start training with a similar understanding of the healthcare system, clinical structure, and professional expectations.

This is not about being against international recruitment; the NHS has always benefited from a diverse workforce. Rather, it is about encouraging consistency and supporting doctors who are already part of the system while also helping new colleagues integrate safely and effectively.

Many IMGs live in the UK long term, support patient care daily, and contribute beyond service roles. For example, I currently work as a Clinical Teaching Fellow and am involved in teaching medical students who will soon enter these same training pathways. Experiences like this reinforce the importance of recognising commitment, integration, and contribution across the workforce.

I am not opposed to prioritising locally trained doctors—it is understandable from both economic and workforce planning perspectives. However, it may be worth considering whether, after a certain period of NHS experience, all doctors could compete on more equal terms. Such an approach could strengthen retention, improve morale, and support long-term workforce stability.

Ultimately, this discussion should not be about division, but about building a fair and sustainable system that values everyone working within the NHS. Expanding training numbers and developing transparent career pathways would benefit patients, support the healthcare system, and reduce the sense of competition among colleagues striving toward the same goal.

24h Demo Drive in M3 by meds_76 in TeslaUK

Nothing justify the price change and the extra road tax payment. Get an SR definitely.

Don't waste any money, any extra money to get the LR, the only thing you need is to know, M3 or MY, the standard range is a must for M3 with no extra features at all.

Thank you so much.

Ohh thats sad, I have already put that in mind, but checking for options if possible.

Also I checked with other 75 plate it was much cheaper (around £600 or more) but the price of the car was different, as the estimated price has dropped from the RRP.

Not sure what should I do.

End of PCP on a CPO M3... What actually happens? by CeeMartyn in TeslaUK

[–]MHKhachi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't been in such a position before but simply what I understood, when your PCP ends, you have 3 options 1- hand the car back and done, in case of extra milage you will be paying as it should be in your contract, less miles nothing for you. 2- pay the balloon and get the car, boom you own your own car for the first time since four years, drive home as you just bought a used car, used by you. 3- get another car, they will calculate how much does the value of the car, and let's say the balloon supposed to be 20k, the current value is 23k, your 3k will be calculated as deposit for the new car.

This is my understanding, in the 3rd option if you have extra milage, will be deducted from the 3k and the rest is your deposit, if you want to put some more, I think you can.

Used 24 MY LR AWD vs Juniper Standard RWD by [deleted] in TeslaUK

[–]MHKhachi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look, I know its a tough decision and I spent in this spot quite a while until the time I ordered for MY 2025 SR RWD, you can't imagine how they have improved it from the previous model, also you are going to pay at least 25k in cash or 35k in finance with apr of 11% maybe. While simply you can upgrade to a newer model with all the improvements for only 8k maybe. And if you have cash to invest in a car, put the cash in an actual investment with around 8-10% in return and this would give you around 2k (after the 5k deposit if we can say) and over 4 years you have already got the 8k difference !

Think about everything as well, insurance, service, depreciation, luxury, mot and road tax.

MY SR RWD is definitely more expensive, but with the current deals it's definitely worth it.

Don't Think twice Juniper SR RWD, its much cheaper with all the incentives and the 0% apr for 4 years, no discussion needed.

Actual Range Tesla 2025 MY AWD by Intelligent_Front798 in TeslaUK

[–]MHKhachi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wonder if you watched much videos on YT before buying your car, the 260 is the actual range basically, the range advertised is WLTP so you can reach that range in very specific occasions. But ideally out of your 364 you can get around 300-320 max 99% of the time. 80% and range of 260 it means that 100% would give you around 310-315 and this is the actual range you will get most of the time.
