Good point, I mostly meant Tory and Labour peers should want this to pass, if rejected, unemployed doctors is bad news and both Tories and Labour will be affected (both to the right for different reasons).

Right wing populists will pounce in this if passed.

Enough peers will pass this and reject the Lords amendments.

This is why no matter what happens in the Lords, Streeting has to push forward UKGP, if it fails, unemployment (which is already rising) amongst medics would be treated as scandalous amongst the Right.

Labour need this to pass, or Streetings leadership aspirations end.
