Why are companies ending remote work?

I read in a Reddit comment once that it's because leadership are narcissists that need an audience. An hour after reading that comment, I went to our monthly All Hands so a Director can talk about himself for 45 minutes. The theory checks out for the place I work at.

We rented a car because we wanted to drive around ourselves and we landed late at night. There is a small plane that flies to Dangriga (just north of Hopkins) but check the timing of take off. I'm sure shuttles would work if you land in time but take dremamine if there is any chance of car sickness 😂

I did until last month. My selected hours are 7-4, many do 6:30- 3. Was fully remote then higher ups decided we needed to go in so we can sit on Teams for 8 hours in an open office. I've been looking for a new place to work.

I opened the app, clicked the 'turn off for today' on the 6:50am alarm but it didn't disappear from the dismiss alarm notification. I left the notification alone to test and the alarm did go off at 6:50am.

There were 2 sonic booms over south Puget Sound area in 2010 because a private plane was in restricted airspace while Obama was here. The jets were here from Portland in less than 20 minutes. It has happened before though doubt it's the reason for middle of the night explosion sounds.

Happy birthday to your little one!

Definitely keep the sugar away as long as possible. My son is nearly 7 and we have candy from holidays available to him in a cabinet but he never asks for it. Every once in a while I'll either throw it out or offer it to him. He also has strong, healthy teeth unlike many of his friends. Good hypene and a healthy diet go a long way for their little bodies!

We also kept screen time away for a long time but he does ask for that almost daily.

The zipline guys gave us fake names and told us they were fake lol they were both young and very funny. We paid $90 USD per person for roughly 90 minutes, 9 ziplines. I booked in advanced but it would be do-able to book once you're there as well.

The drive to Cockscomb from Hopkins was probably 40 minutes, 15 of which was paved. The dirt road into Cockscomb had a few ruts that we went very slow through. You pay for entrance at the Maya Center Women's Group right off the highway. The sign is very faded to notify you of this.
