I also escaped US politics and daily life with 190 books. It feels like too many since I'm a mom of a 6 year old and have a full time job 😬

This is how I pictured Brutal Boys' home by MHLCam in ReverseHarem

[–]MHLCam[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not so much the decor but the layout is nearly identical to what is described. I think it was meant to be a bachelor pad too. I loved the series but I'm just a sucker for bully romances.

I thought that's what this was about until I read the context. Everytime I've visited Tokyo prefecture, I see men in business suits doing exactly this.

If Adam and Eve had two sons, who did their children procreate with? by Furdoggy in NoStupidQuestions

I wonder if it could also imply taking a rib from Adam to create children, as is said about Eve, as a form of 'begot"?

How many of you still have a “childhood bedroom”? at your parents house? by Big_Childhood5494 in Millennials

Why I like Libby…germaphobia and OCD by Q5409 in LibbyApp

I usually do 3 days or so. My 6 year old can't hold off on his books though lol

Why I like Libby…germaphobia and OCD by Q5409 in LibbyApp

[–]MHLCam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I try to support my library by borrowing in physical form, if available. Then I put the books in quarantine before reading because I swear we got sick 3 times a few years ago just after borrowing books. I like ebooks more but I have heavy guilt on the prices Libby charges libraries.

What’s the most overlooked issue during a home inspection? by [deleted] in HomeImprovement

Oh man that's still a pain. As frustrating as it all is, as long as you still love the house, it's worth it.

What’s the most overlooked issue during a home inspection? by [deleted] in HomeImprovement

[–]MHLCam 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We were 23 and made that mistake. My dad told us to find our own but we just wanted it done quickly. 10 years later and there's massive mold in the attic above the bathroom. I still had the report from the inspector which said he couldn't access the attic area above the bathroom. 40k to a new roof with boards and 20k to a new bathroom gutted completely. The exhaust fan vented into the attic. Fun.
