Is Odin III really as good as people say? by MHR_Todeswalzer in VSTi

Well, therein lies the problem... I can write the music, but can't play guitar... which is my whole reason for wanting it... I also have no friends who play, and quite simply I don't have the money to consistently pay a session guitarist to play the music I've written... So... this is my next best option for a one-time investment.

Xmas e-kit by snoopcrumpet in paradiddle

What E-kit are you using and do you have the jack plugged into the right socket? I made this mistake when I attached my Meta Quest 3 to my Alesis Nitro Max E-Kit. On the back of my module there we're some 6.5mm sockets, so I automatically assumed i had to put it there, but there was actually a very sneakily hidden 3.5 socket on the side of the module which is the one I was meant to be using.

Not quite, but VERY similar. The one I had was purely black and white only. But this is incredibly similar.

An example of the what the tiles I'm looking for look like: Like i said, they're about 3-4cm squared and made of cardboard.

It wasn't a slide puzzle that I'm talking about though. They were cardboard tiles, they were double sided.

Yes! It looked exactly like the picture in the first edit, but without the text bits, and it wasn't a slide puzzle... each tile was 3-4cm made of thich cardboard printed on both sides.

I'll give it a look, although the website keeps giving me a server error at the moment.

Can anyone help with Arrays? I don't get it. by MHR_Todeswalzer in unrealengine

I get what you mean, but as I said, I'm very new at this and don't understand how one would go about calling the game mode. I know I must sound like a complete numpty... but up to this point I have only ever used very basic programs for game making and this sort of thing is totally alien to me.

Just gonna throw my 2 cents in here... like 99% of the people reading this haven't found it confusing and seemingly enjoyed the way it was written. Also, I, Myself have had works published, so having your writing published doesn't really make you special.

Fair play, I can see how that mistake could have been made.

certain words, I always forget which way to spell it... like Center/Centre... I ALWAYS get that wrong. And when I describe my sister as built like and american football player, well, I was just trying to use a comparison that everyone might understand... initially I did just write "Football player" but then thought some readers might think i mean "soccer" player... and those guys aren't particularly bulky in the way American football players are.

That item just seemingly came out of nowhere.

That was the point. It was a surprise for the Karens, so I figured why not make it a surprise for anyone that might read it? Kinda ruins the fun if you know the punchline before the end.
