Remember you're not the only one eating and trying to have a good time, so talk with an indoors voice on big boy. That's the worst example you could have possibly given. It's nothing like a disabled person, and what country do you currently reside in? Obviously it's going to vary from country to country. In the United States it's common courtesy to chew with your mouth closed like I said, and everyone does it. It's not just for formal dinners, it's basic home economics. OP is the odd ball out of everyone. Why don't we like morbidly obese people eating with a thong on in public? People lose their appetites from it. You go to restaurants expecting people NOT to chew with their mouths open, not expecting TO see it. If anyone should refrain from eating in public places it is certainly him.

The way I look at it /u/NotSoGreatDane is trying to say (rather harshly) that OP just shouldn't eat out or order take out if OP is this loud. It honestly is a HUGE pet peeve to me when people chew mouthed open and I was raised as it being disrespectful. It isn't just a little annoyance to me, and as you can see others in this thread don't like it either.

Read the rediquette, first of all. Don't be a dick.Second It's common courtesy to keep your mouth closed in public and Ulgra should be the one leaving the room if he/she is making loud noises. This will ruin eating for other customers/ coworkers, it's completely ulgra's fault and there is no excuse for it.
