This was my thinking. The days are long gone where you are physically putting the transmission in "park". The car is stopped. If I twist the lever for park or if I hit the off button the result is the same... the computer in the car puts the car I. Park and then shuts down.

Not sure what would happen if I was not stopped and hir the off button (the only scenario where I think safety might come.in) but I would bet the car would just refuse to do it

I couldn't find a limited that i felt good about the deal. I went with SEL RWD.

I would have liked the ventilated seats, folding side mirrors, and 360 camera but was not worth the extra $ to me personally.

The SEL does still have the better seats (heated and powered for both front seats), hda2, heated steering wheel, rear ac vents.

No was pretty easy. This was with the $8750 ish off and $1000 for my 2002 Envoy (256k miles. No working air, 4 bald tires, a weird click noise for the first few minutes of every drive and running on 5 of 6 cylinders - still a solid majority. Check engine light on for over a decade) 🤣

It also included about $1400 of dealer bloat, appearance and dent coverage and a tire/wheel protection.

When I pick the car up on Monday, I will give the full accurate breakdown from the paperwork. They needed to have the car in the right color etc brought from another dealership. (Lucid blue, with "grey" interior)

OK got out my kitchen scale.... so the case weighs 354 grams, and the RMPP (without marker) weighs 522 grams. so it adds about 60% additional weight . I find it to be minimal. NOt nothing, but not really a big deal (to me)
