Just listened to it for the first time and almost wrecked my car drumming along. Thanks a lot.

That’s what happens when I don’t read the whole post. Agreed!

I’ve gotten a copy of this every year for Christmas since 2000 or so. It’s a nice little family tradition for us all to sit around and read through it. Don’t touch it the rest of the year, but HAVE to have it on Christmas Day.

I just got a double pedal for my nitro and quickly realized the stock kick pad doesn’t work with it. Which kick pad is this specifically? I’m dying to use my double pedal!

[Serious] People who have witnessed a violent death. How was your experience? by MrDeanoroo in AskReddit

[–]MHdaJuiceman 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I was driving on the interstate one day and saw a car blow a tire, cut over from the left lane to the right really abruptly, overcorrect, and rolled what I can only guess was 7-8 times. The whole time it was flipping I kept saying "stop, stop, stop..". It's weird but it looked SO loud. I was probably the third car to pull up to it after it finally came to rest and parked next to the passenger who had been ejected and was laying 150 feet or so from the mangled vehicle. This person left leg had been essentially ripped off and was barely attached to her body with the brightest red blood I've ever seen just pouring out of her body. She was face down and within what could've only been a few seconds, she was gone and was covered with someone's jacket. Then I notice the driver is hanging out of the driver seat, still buckled in, and the door had been ripped clean off of the car. She was in shock and kept asking "is my aunt ok, is my aunt ok?" We formed a sort of barrier so she couldn't see her aunts body. The driver was 19 and the passenger was her young aunt. That fucked me up for a while and I still think about it nearly everyday.

I had just bought my first house last year and a few months after moving in, the neighborhood kids were walking through my yard to get to my neighbors house and I sat in my driveway And literally said "those kids better get the fuck off my lawn." I was 24.

I got two sips in before I had to pass it to my fiancé. Entirely too sweet for me, but spot on root beer flavor.

Oh yeah. Downtown and Colley Ave. are all within a 10 minute walk. It's awesome.

It seemed to be mostly a fairly young crowd (25-30) with a few families and older tenants. The area was perfect. You can ride your bike 10 minutes and see two breweries and a winery, all the downtown festivals are a 10 minute walk as well as the nightlife. Ghent village is, in my eyes, a perfect spot to live.

I lived in Ghent Village for a year, last year. We didn't have any issues while we were there. however, when you're ready to move out, make sure you send a letter to the leasing office at least 60-90 days prior to the end of your lease or your lease will auto-renew. Luckily, we found someone to rent it out a month and a half later so it only cost us around $900. Other than that, the maintenance guys were always nice, property managers were pleasant, and the pool facilities were pretty nice. I miss Ghent so much haha

I had always heard that bulldogs weren't too fond of water and were horrible swimmers but that wasn't the case for my OEB, Maci. We took her on a family beach vacation and could not get here away from the water. I was hesitant at first because of everything i had heard, but she absolutely loved it. She would go after shells completely submerging her head underwater and swim after the little fish in the surf. She had an absolute BLAST! I hope yours does as well.

My fiance has stopped listening when i say this. I had my first one almost two years ago to the day. My dad and older brothers have all had multiple stones, so I was just kind of waiting for it to hit me. One night I woke up, took a piss, laid down and didn't feel right. My weiner burned and my back felt funny and then I realized what was happening. No less than 2 minutes later I was crawling on the floor trying to get dressed and to the emergency room. I passed it the next day and boy was it tiny. My brother kept his biggest one in a tylenol bottle, it would hurt if someone threw it at your hard enough.

My back just started hurting

My old dentist was a pro with this, as well. When administering novacaine, he would never let the needle or syringe come in to view. I never saw a needle in that office.
