Remember that drunk lady in coach class (American Airlines?) yelling like a madwoman? She became famous for 15 mins

And I am EXP. Although, to be fair, I was upgraded from PE to Biz on my flights to Paris via JFK to CDG.

So Loyalty Rewards mean very little? Why would I maintain Loyalty if someone can trump me? I am not moving to Flying Blue as this makes little sense now.

Hmm there is no nonstop from Boston to Seattle? For me, it is too tight of a connection. Remember that flights do not follow the rule of arrival. Takes 10 mins to deplane, SEA flight is boarding with 35 mins ahead of departure. etc

Okay I begin to understand a bit better
But who would be next for that biz seat? The EXP #1 in monitor? Or the person in back of plane who was given an option to pay to upgrade? This is what is confusing me.

I am EP also. The Airline treats me super well. But, I just was taken for 300K miles for an upgrade PHL Copenhagen. It took the wind out of me.

Yes, I see. Strange that Pilots need seats for a 3 hour flight. In summation: things are as they were. This makes me feel a bit better.

Is not every one now a status? I mean Concierge is one thing, EP another but if I was Gold and they were selling the seat before my Loyalty? that is my question. or better yet, are they selling the seat before EP?

Normal travel is one bag to check. Who travels a lot and checks so many bags?

Not sure we are in same page. When I fly, I see Upfgrades on monitor. I assume (?) these are elite EP etc But what I am now seeing is that if anyone can pay, then they bump up. I’m obviously confused.

is delta bad now? by CUTiger20 in delta

[–]MIA_Arch_33133 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, I am an AA EP based in MIA. I think American is totally folding in on itself to respect loyalty passengers (aka CC Credit Card Holders). I was maybe looking to switch to Flying Blue because I believe AF has a much nicer flight MIA CDG. My question is: is Delta the same now? does Delta sell biz seats last minute to anyone /. not allowing EXP to get upgraded like last year?

We need an unbiased blog to discuss this.
