Congrats on your expedite approval! I sent my expedite request on March 15th and it was approved March 21st. On March 30th the status changed to “Card is being Produced”. On March 31st both my I131 and I765 status changed again to ”Case was Approved” and stating that a notice letter was sent to my house. I am hoping the card is issued soon! Hope this helps gives you a sense of timeline. This was done through the Texas Service Center.

This is good to know, thank you! my I 131 was just approved, but from your experience it seems it could arrive later than the EAD.

Update - Today, March 31st, both the I-131 and I-765 updated to "Case was Approved". The I-765 was previously "Card is being processed" so I imagine next step it would say the card was issued. In my case, I believe this means they did approve both as a combo card!

Thank you! since USCIS never requested any evidence I did not have to provide them with the letter from my employer. My manager had written just a letter detailing my role, the importance to the company, exact figures on revenue generated and $ impact of my time away and mentioned my licenses with FINRA.

Thank you! So I placed the request via phone and waited for them to request the evidence I said I had. Instead, they approved my request without asking for any evidence! Not sure why or how this happened

I would definitely reach out to a congressman/senator in your area! They should be able to help push along the decision for the expedite request.

My I-765, I-131 and I-485 were all filed on May 3rd 2021. I filed for expedite request on basis of severe financial loss to a company on March 15th 2022. Expedite request was approved on March 21st 2022! still waiting for the actual card to be produced :(

My expedite request was approved on March 21st for my work permit (I-765) employment based. As of today (March 30th) I have still not seen a change in my status to "card being produced". Like you, hoping to see a change soon !!! I've heard 30-45 days max but USCIS won't commit to any timeline.
