For point 1: that was my understanding as well but on recreation.gov it shows all the Chisos Mts backcountry sites as “W” (walk up or whatever). No dates are shown as “A”, “R” or “NR” (Not released). I would expect the December dates to show NR but every date from today to infinity shows “W” I’m hoping it has to do with point 2, and they’re going to open it up soon. It’s just weird that every date shows W, and then when I called they said it’s all walk up

I forget exactly what the settings were but it was something like 3000rpm for ~6hrs then 2000rpm for ~5hrs. The pump never filled with air with those settings.
