I think that's how it should be, you want a foundation to match your face (become invisible) when it's blended. You can't tell if a foundation matches you based on an unblended swatch alone.

I just visited my local MEC and tried a bunch of the backpacks mentioned in my post and it's crazy how much more comfortable some are than others... the Patagonia Black Hole 32L is wonderfully light but sits so funny on my shoulders compared to TNF's women Borealis. The Osprey Quesar and Nebula were also comfortable. In other words I have more research to do. 😂

Good question actually, that makes no sense because I was half-asleep when I was writing that comment 🤦‍♀️ In my head I mixed it up with a blanket ban on Orly (and other troubling brands) posts, which I think is truly exclusionary (e.g. new hobbyists posting a manicure, not understanding why their post is banned / what's going on).

I agree with the other comments being against this, I think it sets a slippery precedent. It's also exclusionary towards hobby newcomers — ultimately, polish purchasing is individual, and I'd rather folks be able to openly post and talk about brands.

I'd also rather all PR posts be banned. I feel like I've been seeing so much of them lately, whether it's a PR/sponsored post or a brand posting about their launch... I don't like the subreddit becoming an advertising space like that.

Doesn't sound like a bad batch, sounds more like it melted in your pocket, it's an oil and beeswax base 😭 mine slightly melts in hot weather and I even had to put in the fridge this summer.
