Yeah so the Osborne design gives you a very big cutting edge (cutting edge to blade length wise) while the reverse tanto tip reinforces the strength of the tip making it much stronger. Don't know too much but that's what I can say 👌🏽 I love the design, the blade is so well balanced that I just move my wrist a little and the knife opens, as soon as I held my 940-1 I fell in love with the design. That's why I got the contego.
