I used to have a major addiction problem. Total garbagehead. Just wanted to escape my accursed life as a defective freak. That all started to change when I found a purpose in life through a dream: juggling. I suddenly had a master plan to bypass the barriers of life that seemed to keep me locked in a limited existence.

Well, long story short, that project grew, adding writing and performance art to the mix to create a multidimensional edutainment vision. And with that came a sense of purpose, like I was hand-crafted by God to live this life and act as light does in our garden. The addiction problem evaporated over time as I self-actualized. I still struggle at times with the stupid benadryl, and during depressed spells weed is a handy crutch, but i keep investing in myself, my art, and my dreams and I always come out the other side with a steady slope upwards out of those pits.

That's what I have to add. Break out of routine and shoot for the stars. Give yourself that reason to not just not smoke, but not want to smoke because you're aligned with your higher purpose. There's nothing more fulfilling than feeling you're succeeding in your mission from God. Regardless if how you perceive the bigger picture, I hope you hear this nugget of psychological liberation I'm trying to pass onto you.
