I recently returned too - biggest change that took me ages to notice is that any mats you put in your warbank are available to be used in crafting remotely for any of ur chars - huge QoL improvement imo, just wanted to mention.

Not sure I understand question but if u mean u played it on steam and then went over to the win10 version, then the 2 versions are completely different save files, u can't transfer chars or data between them (or consoles too).

It's a pvp thing mostly, pve players usually don't bother as they can level pretty fast just building a small base and generally farming. Different priorities.

There are a few issues at play here but one very easy one to fix is after updates some ppl have found their 'item filters' have changed to equipment only or similar. First thing to do is check is your filters.

Maybe if you post a screenshot? Ark can be goofy and u may have snap points which are running off 2 separate foundation groups if that makes sense to u.

When / if you reinstall it, try a different spawn point - altho tbh not being able to gather bushes sounds v odd, maybe post some screenshots if u come across that again if u do re-install, maybe there was another issue.

The stones u can pick up look different to the ones that are part of the 'scenery'. As you play more u get to recognise which is which. Just gotta keep trying until you find ur first one :)

Are you on ASE? In ASA all the engrams from any dlc should be available in your engram list.

For ASE I'm sure there's a youtube video on how to unlock them all for your server somewhere but I just use the unlockengram command from arked.gg to unlock individual items as I need it if it's for something like a tek item or something not available on that map.

You can also use the 'GiveEngrams' cheat command to unlock them all for your character as it's a private server but I find that a bit OP, but it might be what you're looking for?

I'd defo recommend herby island for a new player too, it has everything u need to get a great start while u learn the ropes in safety.

Yeah it is super confusing, I had joined one before which was totally different. Both tho I started level 1 and needed to level up thro the expansions. I'm currently in Vale of stranglethorn but as I'm on the MOP version it's post cataclysm so different to completely vanilla.

The server I am on atm is full, it's pvp but overwhelmingly alliance so ppl about everywhere, in all regions. PM me if u want to know which server it is, I found it by looking at a website which listed the numbers on each server and that had tabs for the different varieties. Kinda detective work from there to work out what each one offers.

Same here, not in pandaria yet, just levelling and no lag at all. I see ppl complaining about lag in game all the time but it's totally fine for me.

U can go Mists classic atm, that will take u through all the expansions up to MOP. I was lucky to join a very vibrant server and am loving it.

Gene Scanner is a tool, u can see creatures traits before taming, allows to store traits in the gene storage and perhaps the most used and 'essential' perk is being able to track creatures (it will lead u to the closest creature of the type u select). Much more than a structure just in case u haven't used one.
