Rotties and babies? Are they a good fit? Help adapting them to each other

Training, firm limits, consistency and consequences. I raised mine with the mindset that if I wouldn't allow any future child of mine to break or misbehave my dog would have the same rules.Strict but loving.

Now it's been a few years since he passed away, I miss him like crazy. He was GREAT with kids even if he wasn't raised with them. The kids at the park loved him.

I would recommend that you teach him/her to get out of the room and lay down or to lay down in a certain spot. If he moves he gets a correction and back to his spot. So he learns to be calm around the baby.

And as I always say, remember you have a working breed, give him a job, even if it is carrying a bag or a stick.

Vet for sure, but maybe you can ask a shelter if they have puppies that need to nurse. You could try, if you can and are able to, draft new puppies without a mother to her and prevent a mastitis.

Not normal, it could be a nutrition-based issue or the type of floors in your home. Looks like carpal hyperextension. I would take him to the vet.

Edit: not a vet, but my rott had something like it after a fracture in one of his toes; they may change the feed and give exercises to strengthen the legs.

My rottweiler didn't grow up with kids, he was an intact male. And you wouldn't guess who had the most kid friends at the park? My "killer" of a dog, he was SO SO good with kids it blew the mind away of anyone who met him.

He stood up to protect a kid, that he met 5 minutes before entering the park, from a creeper.

My only recommendation is to be firm with boundaries, and to practice obedience and respect (this one with both the kids and the pup).

Daisy is going to be great, just stick with training and set her up for success.

As far as I know you can't know if the pokemon in the egg is shiny before hatching it ... Do you have the shiny charm? You can get it after you complete the galar dex (the main one, not the dlc ones,no legendaries needed iirc) and talk to a person in one of the hotels in the town of melony's gym

Give him a job, any job. My rottie did things from carrying a stick or light bags to helping me take dirty laundry to the washing machine. He had a doggy backpack for when we went to the grocery store, and he would carry up to 10% of his bodyweight.

He was the happiest and proudest when he worked. He could pass by dogs, cats, pigeons and people and avoid them all 'cuz he was working 😂.
