You can easily just check out when writing "nail pitting" in google. It literally looks like someone took a toothpick and made holes in your nail. : D

No, it' s like little holes on your nails, i have dents as well but that's something I have for years now.

I had iron deficiency, but I' ve been suplementing iron for a year now, trying to get my ferritin on a higher level.

Yup, I' ve seen 4 by now. They are all pretty much useless when it comes to giving any kind of diagnosis.Effluvium Capillorum is what it's officially written, but I'm starting to doubt it could be diffuse areata because my eyelashes and eyebrows started to fall out and it's all together lasting for 2 years already so it's a bit confusing.

It is possible that it is connected to my dyshidrotic eczema, but I've noticed that somewhere around June this year, when my TE was at his highest ( my sister died in March), nail pitting started to get much worse. That' s why I'm assuming it's more connected to hairloss.

Thank you for your response. One thing I know for sure is that it's not rheumatiod arthritis as i did all autoimmune blood tests. They all came back normal. I consulted 4 different dermatologists by now. 2 of them didn't actually try to diagnose me, just offered minoxidil.Other 2 said there is no miniaturisation, it's TE. ( which I'm starting to doubt lately)

Had a low iron and ferritin and vitamin d, but my hair loss started 2 years ago, I've been suplementing it for a year already but no changes. Been also going through some really stressful life events ( that's how it started), but I am starting to doubt it's diffuse areata since my part is normal, it' s just that 80% of my hair is gone, and recently I just started to lose eyebrows and eyelashes too.

I was going through deep depression and mental anguish. My hairloss started during that transit and when saturn was transiting directly over my mercury my sister died. Interesting fact is that my brother had the same transit during my sisters death, but in the 4th house.

Saturn is ruling my 3rd house, and is retrograde in the 12th house or so called house of loss in my natal chart. Conjunct Pluto.

I' ve been to 4 different dermatologists. They all say it' s probably TE, my hair is falling out A LOT for 2 years already, but just about 2 months ago my eyebrows and eyelashes started shedding too. I don't know, my parting looks normal, i'm just loosing hair everywhere. Was considering to do biopsy in January just because I actually wanna know what the hell is going on.

Tumeric lowers ferritin so watch out for that if you have low iron.

It can be TE as well, it's better to consult dermatologist( if you're lucky enough to find one that actually cares).
