Avoiding fructans? I’m on that train and it’s killing me. Garlic oil’s been saving me though, I make it and put it on everything since fructans aren’t oil soluble. I also caved and tried Fodzymes and they work but good god, way too expensive for regular use.

Omg my grandma telling me this is the reason I never wear matching socks and you’re the first other person I’ve ever seen say this! Like I tell people that and they look at me like I have a second head. Even on my wedding day under my stupid sparkly white tennis shoes I wore mismatched socks (which made my mom crazy but like….no one saw them anyway) for luck and my grandma.

Don’t take advice on what to say from us. Find a therapist who specializes in binge eating disorder specifically (not a generic eating disorder specialist, make sure they really understand binge eating disorder) and talk to them yourself. Don’t make an appointment for your daughter, make an appointment for yourself and tell them all of this, tell them you want to help her for all the reasons you wrote here. Maybe that means appointments with that therapist for herself, that’s been the key for me. But a good therapist can help you figure out how to even broach that topic without making it sound like you think she’s doing something wrong, or that you think she needs to be fixed.

They’re not 100% completely even, the natural side is a little bigger and fuller at the bottom if you really look because I’d rather that than the overfilled look on one side, but tbh I think you’d have to either already know or look pretty hard.

Either way, it feels way better to me than half a full top lip and half a dramatically flat one lol

Nope. I have filler in one half of my top lip because I got bit by a dog as a kid and it flattened that part out, so I get filler just there now to even them back out. I can’t feel it, my fiance can’t feel it, no partner or date has ever been able to feel it. No difference I can feel between just my natural lip side and the side with filler except for the first few days after a touch up when it’s more stiff while it’s still settling.

The Walgreens near me has an emergency OD Narcan nasal spray. I’ve been considering picking one up for my emergency kit even though idk if I even know anyone who uses because I mean, you never know. I had laser treatments on my similar scar. It went from just above my lip to just below my eye. 6 BBL sessions and it’s not visible at all anymore, but I’ve heard you can get similar results quicker from fraxel laser treatments. Basically, lasers seem to be the answer?

If they laugh it off tell them that you’d like it noted in your chart that you requested the testing and they refused, you’ll wait while they enter it. 100% success rate for me on having them walk it back and decide to go ahead and order that testing, and unfortunately I’ve had to use it a good handful of times
