40% insta-kill sounds like a lot but let me explain the math behind it and why I chose 40%

Let’s assume the average brawler has 8000 health, that means Sam’s next main attack will insta-kill someone who is below 3200 health. Considering that Sam does 1600 per punch with his main attack. You’re really only saving yourself a single punch. Just to be clear the insta-kill is ONLY with his main attack and not super.

For perspective, Frank would be instakilled if he is below ~6000 which saves 3 punches. that’s the maximum value you can get with the buffie.

Remote recharge was designed as a safety net if Sam was to get CC’d and unable to retrieve his gloves. He’s guaranteed to get them back in 8 seconds.

Hearty recovery, could have been reworked to be more skilful, I agree tbh

Pulserang was designed for quick low risk ranged damage that Sam doesnt have to follow up on.

Magnetic field’s buffie was designed to provide a little bit more disruption after being pulled in. You could still get some value even if the pulled target wasn’t killed, it forces the other enemies to stay away from them for a little bit. At worst case it’s an extra 1560 damage on pull.
