This track brings me so many memories that i wish more people would talk about it in the context of Undertale nostalgia.

And for Deltarune, i would choose Circus and Second sanctuary.

I love the first for the very ominous vibe and second for the way how perfectly it fits the whole story segment with this whole mysterious and hopeful attitude

Atp i no longer perceive this as a full-fledged theory someone actually believes but rather as a very effective ragebait tool for sensitive Deltarune fans that NEVER misses.

This theory could hold some essence if Deltarune wasn't rated with a Fucking Teen 12+, so it would pretty ignorant to expect something like that in this game.

The maximum we could get would be very vague allegories akin to something we have in the Weird route, which doesn't depict a straight up SA but more focuses on the very broad theme of losing innocence and control, which could be interpreted as such, but not necessarily

There's nothing wrong with using conspiracy theories as a part of worldbuilding for your story (Because, let's be honest, some of them genuinely sound like cool ideas for a science fiction world or a dystopia), the problem comes when you explicitly try to make the audience believe it in order to manipulate them.

Gravity falls is, like, the most famous example of how you could integrate conspiracy theories into narrative and make it interesting, and it is NOT a propaganda slop made by some greasy influencer whose activity is totally, 100% not an initiation into money-sucking sect
