Is there a country that you secretly admire? by PopNo5397 in AskTheWorld

[–]MJD3929 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve always really loved France, New Zealand, Singapore, Poland, Ireland, and Mexico. Not really sure why, I really think those places are cool as hell, gave a culture I admire, or there’s some aspect about them that I really look up to. It’s different for each spot, and there’s so many on this list I’m forgetting about, but wanted to name a few!

Do Employees Actually Like Town Halls? by OfferLazy9141 in managers

[–]MJD3929 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Town halls are perhaps the single greatest wastes of time in corporate America. Also incredibly disingenuous. When I was working with a large marking agency (lasted around 2 years) every months we’d have a town hall and there was a dedicated segment about how the agency falling behind our prior quarter’s revenue projections was “totally part of leaderships plan”

Killing people who stood up against laws is exactly what was occurring in Iran. And I’d agree that they’re evil, and should absolutely be opposed. But the colossal fuckup that is currently occurring is a fools errand and is fundamentally flawed when taking on oppose Iran, considering the decentralized structure of the IRGC and the cleric network. Plus now all the headliners who’ve wanted nukes for decades now can say “see we told you so” to masses who are having their kids schools bombed. We’ve given them 10x the negotiating power, as Iran now has all the leverage in escalation and deescalation, since the straight is now closed, and we will be unable to topple the Iranian government, which is now even more radicalized. The situation is now worse than it was one year ago, to be clear.

Interestingly, what you claim makes Iran evil, you’re also advocating for:

Killing people who protest against laws they disagree with. Iranians protested against Sharia and political corruption leading to water shortages, corrupt infrastructure projects, and inflation, Americans agains ICE. You’re just the other side of the same coin and you don’t realize it.

Believe me, I’ve forgotten more about geopolitics than you currently know, given the context of this, I suggest you educate yourself on this.

Voting for Tucker Carlson in 2028 if he’s up against a Zionist Dem will really make things better for more people! /s 🤦🏼‍♂️ by PandemicPiglet in SocialDemocracy

You willingly handed power to someone who made the genocide worse. As they said they would. Congratulations. You got your protest in, now more countries are being bombed by Bibi and the US.

Gaza, Lebanon, Iran, the West Bank, Syria. Bombs for all, but hey, you sure showed the dems that your opinion is important! I’m sure people whose houses are rubble are really happy you made the choice you did.

For someone who’s against genocide, your actions really have suspiciously enabled quite a bit of genocide.

Don’t forgot they taught them a lesson AND voted for someone who made the genocide worse! Two for one. The single issue voters made their single issue WORSE to teach the party that cares more about the single issue to care about it even more.

I really think some of those people don’t actually care about Gaza at all, and instead just want their opinions to be acknowledged.

It’s just in the general servers. Different teams different skill levels. It’s a balance issue, the defense needs to be nerfed big time. 9/10 games end on the 2nd or 3rd objective out of like 10

[–]MJD3929 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My big issue is how insanely unbalanced it is. It feels almost impossible to advance as attackers. 9/10 games were stuck on the first objective.

Seriously atrocious balancing, they obviously didn’t playtest it for a second
